Century Peak Corporation (“CPC”) - Dinagat is a wholly owned subsidiary of Century Peak Holdings Corporation.
CPC has two mining tenements in the Province of Dinagat Islands, namely Century Peak Corporation – Nickel Mining Project with Mineral Production Sharing Agreement denominated as MPSA No. 010-92-X under Surigao Mineral Reservation (SMR) and Century Peak Corporation - Rapid City Nickel Mining Project with MPSA No. 283-2009-XIII SMR. Both Projects conduct an open cast mining method.
The CPC - Nickel Mining Project is also known as the Casiguran Area. It covers approximately 1,198 hectares of contract area located at Barangay Panamaon, Loreto, Dinagat Islands. The tenement is covered by Environmental Compliance Certificate with Reference No. 0707-017-2140. The contract Area of Casiguran has Nickel commodity. As of February 2021, the total remaining ore reserve of Casiguran Area is 2,762,055.01 DMT.
Meanwhile, the CPC – Rapid City Nickel Mining Project covers three (3) Parcels and has a contract area of approximately 3,188.2566 Hectares located at Barangay Esperanza, Loreto, Dinagat Islands. The commodity within Rapid City is also Nickel and it has a total remaining ore reserve of 4,188,031.08 DMT as of February 2021. Parcel II of Rapid City is the only operational area to date with an ECC Reference No. 0905-010-1030, and is situated in the Municipality of Loreto which is located at the tip of Dinagat Islands bounded by the Pacific Ocean on the north and the east, Surigao Strait on the West and Municipality of Tubajon on the south. The MPSA started its mining operation in CY2013.
